During my time in my first year of university I was shown many different ways to improve advertisements. This task was to use an old ring advertisement and update it with an illustrative style. On the left is the poster that I submitted as this shows the ring with an atmosphere of elegance, however this was not my first attempt at creating something for this project. I used a realistic style that incorporated water to enhance the idea of relaxation. This idea was changed because it was brought to my attention that the same effect could have been achieved using a photograph which is why I changed my submission to be a very illustrative poster.
