We were given a piece of audio that we were then tasked to created our final physical objects from. I was given the poem 'One Art' by Elizabeth Bishop, which is all about loss. This is why I have created four sides to a clock where you can open the clock face to reveal different scenes of her life.
The bed and the dress hanging up are the main things that change but the elements featured in the poem can also be seen in the time period that I think they would have taken place. I used a clock because the underlying theme of the poem was the loss of time so I wanted that to be a prominent feature in this project. Each side is different to indicate which quarter of her life you are viewing.
